Domestic Violence in Costa Rica
This is a common problem that happens in our country and around the world. These abusive behaviors can be by one or both partners in the marriage, dating, family, and even friends. There are different forms of domestic violence including psychological aggressions, physical aggressions, and sexual abuse.
Every day on the news of our country we can see new stories of domestic violence, according teletica in our country are reported six cases of domestic violence per hour. There are predisposing factors that lead to increased violence. For example alcoholism problems, drug addiction and mental illnesses could be the principal causes of domestic violence on families. Women are the main victims of violence, and our country is a reflection of this problem because men believe that women are inferior, and only can dedicate time to stay of home and take care of the children. Currently in our country several centers for helping women, children a men who have been victims of violence have been established for example ‘’INAMU’’ and ‘’PANI’’.
One of my best female friends suffered violence from her boyfriend, because he make abuse psychological and physical against she, however I advised her who she should end the relationship, but she did not end with he, neither reported the situation. Eventually they ended the relationship
We must all become aware of this big problem and try to find a solution. Mainly we need to educate children and teach values like respect, love and equality.

Debate 2
Why to choose a Public University?
When you are planning your professional and academic career, one of the most important topics is the University in where you are going to study. All they are very different, pros and cons are giving according to careers, walks of life which you want to get close, quality of teachers and longevity of the institution, etc. But there is a common way to separate them in two groups with similar characteristics: Private and Public Universities. This is a good way to start choosing the right institution that reaches your needs.
The main difference is the source of their funds that makes studying at a private university much higher than in public, so that the latter is more accessible to students who do not have a privileged socioeconomic status. This is due that public ones operate largely with funds from local government and private universities are self-financing.
Thanks to this, there are more support to investigations and the student can contribute with new ideas. Have more infrastructures to work and study, also the student live in an atmosphere of greater freedom, democratic and participatory. In private ones there are more restrictions in this regard.
The reputation is important too and is more frequently that a Public University is more recognized in other countries for work and continues the studies. There is a perception that private universities is easier to graduate, often even rumored that some of them "you can buy titles," while in public perception is that the student must work hard and overcome many obstacles in order to graduate.
Dividing the universities into publics and privates is a way to classify them, but the best way to choose where to study depends in the career you want. Because there are someone’s that are better in some topic, but worst in other. Is better to look comparison between universities in the career you want.

Global Warming
Throughout human history he has evolved and with himself as its surroundings which nobody was warned that the conduct of one person would be multiplied by 6000 million people around the world which today results. Today planet earth is experiencing a sudden change of atmospheric conditions which causes extreme temperatures. In the north, people are freezing and in the south of the area’s population are dying of heat.
Global warming is growing daily and the consequences are more and more visible not only does it includes changes in the atmosphere but also in the earth’s crust, earthquakes that cause the large number of deaths resulting havoc tens of thousands of people.
The level of contamination is troubling to all people, as these gases cause the temperature to rise and the ice caps melt causing the sea levels t rise resulting in flooding, losses in crops in areas where business people make a living and the full contamination of the vehicles etc.
As the population grows the contamination increase that harms the planet? Through higher gas found in the ozone layer, and likewise the increase not only atmospheric temperatures.
In conclusion it is necessary to raice awareness, we still have time to begin the change is needed is the discipline and persistence. The contribution each person to achieve to make a reversible effect is like a groin of sand that we bring to improve weather conditions and thus improve the quality of life for our future generations that are going to pray or enjoy the result of our own actions.
